About Ezzy and Me

My family and I live in Hawaii on the beautiful Island of Oahu – I am a Christ follower, wife, “boy mom” to 3 amazing little men, church planter, musician and entrepreneur.  Needless to say, I’ve got a lot going on.  I have often felt incredibly hurried in my motherhood. 

The birth of my third son, Ezzy, opened my eyes to how terribly busy and rushed I tend to be.  It made me realize how important it is to reach out for help, ask questions and constantly be willing to learn and grow.  Most importantly, I’ve learned to slow down so that I can be the best version of myself.  I want my boys to have the best of me, not just my “leftovers”.   I want to enjoy this precious time of motherhood and live a slowed, simplified life in order to savor these sweet moments with my precious boys.  Someone once said, “the days are long, but the years are short.”  Oh, how this resonates with my soul.  Let me not miss out on the sweet ordinary moments with my kids because I was too busy with the unimportant. 

I am hoping this can be a space to share some of my reflections, successes and failures in motherhood. In a Social Media/Pinterest world – where everybody seems to have it together- I pray that you will be inspired and encouraged that you don’t have to do it all or be it all.  That what your children need is YOU – uniquely designed and beautiful you – not perfection.  

I pray that this could be a place where we celebrate and learn from each other instead of competing with one another.  Let’s enjoy this season of motherhood that we’ve been blessed with.
